Of course, I was crawling by then, since I’m still on Eastern time, and I haven’t gone to bed at 3:30AM in a long, long, long time.Woke up at 7:30 in the exact same position in which I fell asleep, so I feel great after sleeping like the dead.

PUAS DilemmaUrgent Need to solve water woes in SelangorRefering to the NST article posted by AS Toh & LCC in the Letter to the Editor on November 4, 2004 pertaining to the problems besetting PUAS and the Selangor water woes, it had been suggested by the author that as a temporary solution, the Government should:1) Continue to put on hold water supply privatization deals;2) Federal Government to provide soft loans or grants to the Selangor State Government to tide over the difficult period until a permanent solution is found; &3) Increase immediately tariff not by 2 to 4 sen but by 20% to 40% as required.The proposal was meant to be temporary until a permanent solution is found; according to the author.The Poser is:What is temporary? When will the permanent solution be found?The problems of PUAS was known and discussed within the government for more than 10 years and many solutions were forwarded and implemented including the increase of water tariff. Did the solution solve the problem - NAYs! Why??? Because the problem of financial losses and debts was not the root of the problem. Then, what was the root of the problem?Firstly, the problem arises due to water shortages. This was a direct result of the failure to plan for the need of the State in the blueprint. 20 years ago, there had already been a proposal to built the pipeline to deliver water from Pahang to Selangor. But we spent billions to built Twin-Tower, KLIA, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, and many highways around the country which would had been construed to be more important than the water project. PUAS CEO Datuk Mohd Sinon Mudzakir had repeated mourn publicly that The Inter-State Water Transfer Scheme needs to be realised urgently or Malaysians will face a water crisis in 4 years. -ne Since I don’t have a page for my dyed yarn, I thought I would post these here. Yarn number 3 is Fisherman’s Wool. Yarn number 4 is 50% silk, 21% mohair, 21% acrylic and 8% cotton. Yarn number 5 is 40% silk, 37% acrylic, 10% angora, 8% nylon, and 5% lambswool. Yarn number 11 is the same mix as yarn number 4 but in a differnt colorway. Last but not least, yarn number 11 is the same mix as numbers 5, 7 & I’ll have to try to dye up a little more yarn in the same color or something complimentary to meet the scarf swap requirement. Whoever comes up with the most clever name (in my and my friend’s opinion), will get the skein they named for free (excluding yarn #11 which I’m keeping for myself *smile*).

Array As we were led to our table, I checked out what was on other peoples’ plates — looked like the crab cake sandwich was popular, the pizzas, and plates of mini burgers heaped over with thin onion rings.Once seated, our waiter, Parker, assured us he would be right with us. When he finally come over to our table, he mentioned that the place was famous for its pizza and its mini-burgers, went over the specials and any questions we had and left us to decide.In the end, we split the mini-trio, which is two scallops, two crab cakes and two mini-burgers. All three were perfectly cooked — the scallop firm with a thick seared crust and rich buttery sauce, the crab cake was sweet and meaty, and the burgers were perfect little patties, pink on the inside, topped with a crumble of blue cheese and crispy fried onions. Next time, as good as that crab cake was, we order only mini-burgers!Then we split the flatiron pizza and the iceberg wedge. The pizza itself was sweet and rich and spicy, with toppings of meaty mushrooms and steak, a rich and cheesy Gruyere sauce, sweet caramelized onions and neon yellow banana peppers providing a vinegar-laced heat at the end.

After the explosion there was heavy shooting, 30 minutes later i went to my room, to study for my math exam, after about 5 minutes I heard sound of shouting coming from my neighbor’s house, I said “ oh no, someone was injured” I ran and looked from the window and saw national guards in my neighbor’s garden kicking their doors to enter their house, they were nervous (no doubt after what happened to them). And kept talking about the improvements, I just felt that it’ll happen to us in mosul too, because the capital of Iraq is witnessing progress.On Wednesday morning, in my way to school, my friends were studying, but I was thinking of the old restaurants we used to go to in Baghdad, I spent the most beautiful days there, I miss those days a lot, and I was thinking of the situation in mosul in general, from where the re-building will start.The governor promised by next January there will be no more car bombs, and the police manager and a leader of one of the national Iraqi troops promised to defeat all the terrorists (he’s a great man, I’ve seen most of his speeches and I support him a lot.In our way back home, after school, the girls and I started discussing matters about the party we were planning to have on the next day at school, what food to bring and what to wear, and in my way home I was talking with my friend who’s 2 years younger than me about the party, music, etc .. the acclimatization we have is unbelievable !!!..On Wednesday I was sick and couldn’t go to school, I had to postponed the French exam to Sunday..Oh, the most important thing I want to tell you about is, two days ago, there was on TV the leader of one of the national Iraqi troops in mosul , he caught many terrorists , he took them to different places in mosul and he asked the people to gather in one place to talk to them, the terrorists stood in a line, and he started to investigate with them in the street so that everyone knows about the horrible things they’ve done, he kept shouting at them and insulting them!!, then he walked in the street pushing them and letting every citizen see those terrorists who killed tens if not hundreds of people.As they say the darkest part of the night comes just before sunrise, and now we reached the darkest point as I believe..

Interest rates won’t be attractive to foreigners if the dollar is dropping like a Bear Sterns CDO (the new Confederate Dollar). This is driving rates down. The expected reaction, of interest rates rising, isn’t happening. T-bills are the McDonald’s equivalent of a drive thru; Put some Christmas Cheer in your tank while you drive your Hummer to the Poor House, stop by Star-sawbucks and order up a Bernanke Latte (Ethanol, no cream).

Keeping in mind that even great critics have their prejudices and agendas, and that no review should be taken at face value, I’m going to examine two diametrically opposing Chapter 27 reviews, and see what, if anything, can be learned.The critique that’s been getting the most attention is the superficial hatchet job written by Roger Friedman of Fox News, who’s had it in for the film since he read the script last year and wrote a piece called “Chapter 27: A New Springtime for Hitler,” a reference to the Nazi musical from the Mel Brooks movie and play The Producers, put on for the purpose of defrauding investors by staging the biggest bomb ever seen on Broadway.Friedman’s awkwardly titled review, “John Lennon Murder a Bore in New Film,” predictably describes Chapter 27 as “exploitative…dull, unimaginative, repetitive and without any redeeming cinematic qualities,” and points out that “most of the audience struggled to remain awake during the film’s lethargic 90 minutes.”Friedman also says that Schaefer did no research, not even making clear what Chapter 27 means. Did Schaefer blatantly rip off the title after reading the section called “Chapter 27” in my Lennon biography Nowhere Man, and did he then use my research and reporting to fully explain in the movie that Chapter 27 is not only a reference to The Catcher in the Rye ending on Chapter 26, but also to “the triple 9,” a number of profound importance to Lennon, who was obsessed with numerology, Cheiro’s Book of Numbers, and particularly number 9 and all its multiples?Apparently, he didn’t do the latter.

As I promise, now I will detail about how to develop exploit MS06-040 that attack against Windows Server 2003 SP0, especially how to break the stack-based buffer overflow protection mechanism in Windows Server 2003 SP0. First of all, I use the metasploit module, netapi_ms06_040.pm, as a template to study how the system process crash. I use the target number 2 “(wcscpy) Windows XP SP0/SP1” and modify the code like this: [ ‘(wcscpy) Windows XP SP0/SP1’, 612, 0x00020804 ], change to [ ‘(wcscpy) Windows XP SP0/SP1’, 612, 0xaaaaaaaa ], add this code: = “B” x length(); above the code line: my replace the code: Pex::Text::AlphaNumText(number) with (“A” x number) The reason why I have to do this change is I have to know which parts of payload overwrite which registers and how the stack look likes.
